A French Porcelain Snuff Box with silver Mounts

A fine French porcelain box of rounded form with domed hinged lid, painted in richly colored enamels. The exterior features romantic pastoral and architectural vignettes framed within gilt cartouches, reserved on a pink diaper and blue trellis-patterned ground.

The lid interior is decorated in cama?eu rouge with a charming country landscape. Mounted in a silver or silver-gilt rim with thumb-lift, bearing indistinct French hallmarks.
