A hand-painted oil on canvas after Jean-Gabriel Domergue (1889¨C1962) ¡ª the French painter whose elongated, elegant women came to define caf¨¦-society glamour. The scene is pure theater: a woman in a red feather boa and long black gloves at a caf¨¦ table, a sharply dressed companion at her shoulder, and a second figure lingering behind. Loose, confident brushwork, a muted teal-green ground, and bold red accents give it real presence on a wall.
It's a genuine hand-painted work ¡ª not a print, lithograph, or digital reproduction ¡ª signed lower left. It is offered as a piece in the style of ("after") the artist, not as an original by Domergue, which is reflected in the price; no certificate of authenticity is included. Please judge and purchase accordingly.
Oil on canvas, professionally stretched over a sturdy wooden frame and ready to hang straight out of the box (decorative outer frame not included). Approximately 40 ¡Á 60 cm (16 ¡Á 24 in). Minor age-appropriate surface wear; canvas tension is excellent, with no tears or repairs.
