Frequently asked questions
Will it stick to textured or frosted glass?
It works best on smooth, flat glass. Textured, frosted, or pebbled surfaces don't give the film enough contact, so the cling will be weak there.
Can I use it on a window with a screen or storm window?
Yes. Apply it to the inside of the glass so it faces out. That keeps it out of the rain and wind and helps it last all season.
What do I do if it stops clinging?
Rinse the piece under cool water, shake off the drops, and press it back on while slightly damp. That refreshes the grip without any glue.
Can I cut it to fit a smaller pane?
You can trim the film with scissors. Cut along the outside of a design so you don't slice through the artwork.
How to use
- Step 1: Clean the glass with glass cleaner and dry it fully. Dust and streaks are the main reason a cling won't hold.
- Step 2: Peel the piece off its backing sheet.
- Step 3: Press it to the glass, then smooth from the center out to push air bubbles to the edge. Takes about a minute per piece.
- Step 4: To remove, lift a corner with your fingernail and peel slowly. Store flat on the original backing sheet.
